Welcome to the subtle workout. Yoga classes in the Align category are slower-paced but still require concentration and effort. Subtle doesnโ€™t necessarily mean easy. They will gradually stretch and strengthen, and build outer and inner balance. Iyengar Yoga, named after and developed by B. K. S. Iyengar, is a form of Hatha Yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture and breath control

Why is it good for me?


The development of strength, mobility and stability is gained through the practice of Iyengar Yoga. This class will also help you to understand and feel each posture in your physical body, which leads to a greater knowledge of Yoga postures and deepens your connection between mind and body


What will I do?


Iyengar Yoga often makes use of props, such as belts, blocks, and bolsters as aids in performing poses. The props enable students to perform the poses correctly, minimising the risk of injury or strain, and making the poses accessible to all. What should I bring?


We have all the equipment you need, including Yoga mats. But feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Make sure you wear comfortable workout clothes and something warm to wear during relaxation. We do recommend bringing a Yoga towel, which we sell at reception. During Iyengar Yoga, make sure you grab a block and belt as you set up your mat
