A yoga practise that facilitates deep relaxation and pranayama (breath work) in order to restore, renew and heal. A mix of gentle Hatha yoga poses (asanas) sequenced together to promote balance and harmony, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Why is it good for me?


Perfect for beginners to yoga, those coming back from injury, pre/post natal mothers, our more mature members and of course those who just want to experience a gentler paced yoga practice. The benefits of yoga really are endless and that’s why at Virgin Active we understand the importance of our yoga offering. Flexibility, bone health, strength, protection of your spine. Not to mention the connection between body and mind.


What will I do?


One of the slower placed practices, perfect for perfecting postures. Focusing on alignment, breath and mind control.


What should I bring?


All you need is comfortable workout clothes and something warm to wear during relaxation. Yoga mats are optional, we have them for you or you can of course bring your own.
