Vinyasa Yoga

Inhale and relax, exhale and feel energised. Be in tune with body and mind in this flowing practise

Vinyasa Yoga is a sequence of postures taught in a flow by linking movement and breath, and allows for a lot of variety. Vinyasa is the Sanskrit word for ‘connection’. We can interpret this as a connection between movement and breath. The breath becomes an important component because the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. You will focus the mind on the breath to settle the mind from the busy distractions of life. Classes are physically challenging and students are encouraged to work at their own pace.
